The upper age is
relaxable up to 3 Years for OBC candidates, 5 Years for SC/ST candidates and 10
Years for Persons with disability (PH).
Stipend:
For Diesel Mechanic
Trade
a) During the first year
of training - Rs.5900/-
b) During the second
year of training - Rs.6700/-
c) During the third year
of training - Rs.7550/-
For All Other Trades
a) During the first year
of training - Rs.5700/-
b) During the second
year of training - Rs.6500/-
c) During the third and
fourth year of training - Rs.7350/-

the website www.sr.indian railways.gov.in
b) A crossed Indian
Postal order for Rs.100/- ( Rupees Hundred only) drawn not earlier than the
date of issue of this notification (Not Refundable) drawn in favour of the WORKSHOP PERSONNEL OFFICER, CARRIAGE AND WAGON
WORKS, SOUTHERN RAILWAY, PERAMBUR, CHENNAI - 600 023 and payable at CHENNAI should be enclosed
along with filled in application towards Processing Fee. Applications without
the processing fee, will be summarily rejected.
c) SC/ST/PWD/Women
Candidates are exempted from the payment of Processing Fee.
